Tanzania Safari in Style – 8 Days (all year round)

ITINERARY

DAY 1: Kilimanjaro international airport / Arusha.

Your Tanzania safari starts on arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport. Here you will be met by your Tanzania safari representative and transferred by road to your lodge located in Arusha town.  The drive from Kilimanjaro airport to Arusha town takes about one hour and fifteen minutes.

DAY 2: Arusha / Tarangire National Park

After breakfast this morning, your Tanzania safari guide will pick you up at the hotel reception, you will drive for about two hours to Tarangire National Park where you will enjoy game drives at the park en route to your lodge / hotel.

DAY 3: full day In Tarangire National Park

Toady you have a full day to explore the Tarangire national park on game drives. Your Tanzania safari guide will discuss with you about how you would like to spend your day, you may take lunch boxes and spend the whole day in the park for maximum wildlife exposure or you may like to do a morning game drive, return to your lodge or camp for lunch and some rest then later go out again in the afternoon. 

DAY 4: Tarangire National Park / Ngorongoro Crater

Your day will begin with breakfast. Then enjoy the Amphitheaters of Animals As you cross the Great Rift Valley.  Pose at the mto wa mbu village for optional activities and at Karatu for lunch then take a scenic drive to your lodge or camp. Later, arrive at the natural amphitheater of Ngorongoro Crater, a 2,000-footdeep caldera.  A fascinating microcosm of East African wildlife including buffalo, flamingos, lions and leopards.

Climb the outer wall, passing through dense vegetation until a breathtaking view across the crater floor appears.   Refresh yourself with the shower, enjoying plenty of hot water provided by your attendant, and relax on your veranda to view the panoramic natural wonderland.

DAY 5: Full day in Ngorongoro Crater

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a vast expanse where animal activity is commonplace as a symphony of wildlife sounds envelops you.

In the afternoon on your way back to your accommodation, you may like to visit a Maasai village, where you learn about the tribe’s traditional, nomadic lifestyle and coexistence with wildlife. Sense the incomparable spirit of this pastoral, nomadic people who have kept their tribal traditions alive through countless generations of life in East Africa.

DAY 6: Ngorongoro / Serengeti National Park

 Searching the Vast Plains, head to the fabled Serengeti National Park and settle into your lodge or camp. Then, set out on the boundless Serengeti, one of the oldest and least-changed ecosystems on earth, where the circle of life plays out every day, as it has for eons. It is home to one of the world’s largest concentrations of wildlife, with lions, hyenas and leopards all endemic.

DAY 7: Serengeti National Park

Where the Big Five Roam Venture out on morning and afternoon game drives in the protected Serengeti refuge, where flowing rivers support a plethora of species. In addition to the Big Five (lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards and rhinos), keep your camera handy for a cheetah bolting after a fleet Thomson’s gazelle. Enjoy ideal game viewing, as your highly experienced driver-guide strives continually to keep you in the heart of the action

DAY 8: Serengeti / Arusha – Depart

Fly to Arusha and enjoy lunch. Relax in a comfortable dayroom before transferring to the airport for your flight home.
