With the continued impact of COVID-19 on global travel, Instyle Africa Safaris remains focused on the safety of our guests, both current and future. The present situation in East and Southern Africa is that most destinations are open, although with some inbound restrictions. You can check with your Safari expert to identify exactly which requirements you need to fulfil when travelling to east and southern Africa during COVID-19.

Getting there and away

Most international commercial airlines require passengers to present a certificate of a negative COVID-19 PCR test that has been conducted within 72 hours of departure. The same may be required when arriving at any transit airport or back in your home country. Many of our trusted suppliers throughout Africa are able to arrange in-lodge/hotel COVID-19 tests, or transfer you safely to an authorized testing facility. Tourists from some nationals are obligated to 14 days mandatory quarantine in some destinations. Check with your Instyle safari expert for more details. 

Book Your Safari with Confidence

For all new bookings traveling between 1 July 2021 and 31 December 2021 that are affected by COVID-related restrictions and complications, we commit to No cancellation fees and 100% refundable deposit 61 days before your travel date. This applies to all land portions and services/activities where applicable and it may vary depending on what lodge / camp you booked. Your dedicated Instyle safari Expert will advise you on the cancellation policy based on the on the lodge / camp you were booked in.

International flights will depend on the policies of particular airline, kindly check with your ticketing agency.

Travel Insurance

We recommend that all our guests purchase fully comprehensive travel insurance to cover the investment in your East and South African itinerary. Instyle safaris do not pay medical bills.
